Welcome!

It turns out that starting a blog is a bit more involved than we expected and combined with the fact that *someone* is a perfectionist and couldn`t just use a premade template, this whole project has taken longer than expected. 

Things aren`t quite where we would like them and you might notice some minor changes over the next few weeks (months, years...) but we are really excited to officially launch Well-oiled Chaos as a place to share some of the things we have been learning and doing. 

You`ll notice that most of our (admittedly meager) content is at the moment focused on essential oils.  We love our oils and everyday we are finding out new ways that they benefit our health and well being.


When we first got started using oils ourselves, we found the amount of available information to be overwhelming and confusing, so our hope is that by sharing what has worked for us, this blog will be a starting point to help others discover the benefits of these amazing oils for themselves.

Oils are not our only interest though.  As busy wives and mothers, who do have interests that don`t involve our families (though not always the time to pursue them!), we will be posting on a variety of topics.  Whether it be whole food recipes, natural parenting, gardening (though in Sarah`s case it will only be tips on how to kill plants), living on a budget, homeschooling our kids, improving our marriages, or sharing something funny we found online, if it interests us there is a good chance that we will talk about it on our blog.

Anyway, that is the official blog launch preamble, but most of you are just here because we promised to do some giveaways, so let`s get started -

The winners will be chosen on Friday, September 19th, 2014. We will be doing more giveaways throughout the month of September, and posting some of our favorite oily DIYs, so please make sure you check back often!
